iPhone SE 4 will not be available for purchase until 2024
Apple, a tech giant, is said to be planning to introduce the fourth-generation iPhone SE 4 next year. However, the iPhone SE 4 will not be available for purchase until 2024.
MacRumors reports that analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that Apple has informed suppliers that it will not be releasing an iPhone SE smartphone until 2024.
Kuo asserted that Apple had planned to introduce its first in-house 5G processor in the fourth-generation iPhone SE; however, this is no longer anticipated, as the product has been cancelled.
Instead, he stated that Apple will likely continue to use Qualcomm for 5G chips in 2024, including in the iPhone 16 series.
Additionally, he stated that the manufacturer of the iPhone intended to test the 5G chip in the iPhone SE model prior to introducing it to the iPhone 16 series to ensure that its actual performance was satisfactory.
Meanwhile, Kuo stated last month that the iPhone SE 4’s planned 2024 mass production would be cancelled or postponed.
“Apple’s 2024 iPhone SE 4 mass production plan is likely to be cancelled or postponed, according to my most recent survey.” “I think this is because the shipments of mid-to-low-end iPhones (like the SE 3, 13 mini, and 14 Plus) are consistently lower than expected,” he stated in a tweet.
